Case Study · Performance Marketing

Google Ads at Rudralife: 27.3K leads in one of the toughest ad-policy niches.

Rudralife sells Rudraksha beads and spiritual consultations to customers worldwide. The brief: scale lead generation and online sales through Google Ads, in a category Google actively restricts.

The challenge

Selling a spiritual product on a platform that restricts the category.

Despite two decades of offline presence and a loyal customer base, Rudralife needed to expand its digital footprint: brand awareness in domestic and international markets, high-quality leads for consultation services, and e-commerce sales, all while keeping ad spend profitable.

The catch: running Google Ads for a spiritual product isn't a matter of raising the budget and watching sales roll in. Google's policies around religious and belief-based content can throttle reach and get campaigns disapproved overnight. The whole engagement lived or died on navigating that.

The strategy

Compliance-first performance, not workarounds.

Policy-friendly ad copy

Crafted copy that resonated with the audience without tripping Google's automated filters. No exaggerated promises, just value-driven messaging that stayed live.

Landing page optimization

Educated users through well-structured content instead of direct claims, keeping pages compliant while lifting conversion rate. The flagship LP became the lead engine.

Diversified ad formats

Leaned on Performance Max, Display, and YouTube to balance reach against compliance, reducing reliance on restricted search terms.

Appeal & A/B discipline

Disapproved ads were reviewed and appealed immediately to minimize downtime, and constant A/B testing surfaced the creative and copy patterns that worked inside Google's rules.

The results

Numbers I can stand behind.

27.3K
high-quality leads generated over 1.5 years
1.35M
clicks driven to landing pages & store
₹3.27
average cost per click, held while scaling

Every number here is verified and defensible, not inflated platform attribution.

Beyond the ad account

I owned the growth function, not just the campaigns.

Promoted from Digital Marketing Executive to Senior Marketing Manager, I led the marketing across far more than Google Ads:
